Video Transcript - The Great Commission
The command of Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20 requires that all His discip0les prioritize the making of other disciples.  This is not an “addition” formula command.  It is a  “multiplication” formula command.
Beginning with twelve Disciples, when each one disciples another at the rate of an average of one per month, the number of persons being discipled would be 24 at the end of month 2; 48 at the end of month 3. By month 4 it would be 96; by month 6, it would be 384 and by month 18 it would be 1,572,864.
But let us say that the Disciple making process began with only one person, and that one person was you. Following the formula of Jesus, in one year, and at the rate of an average of one new disciple per month, 2,048 persons would be under Discipleship training, and being equipped to make more Disciples.
Compare these statistics with the actual performance of the typical Believer in Jesus Christ with whom you are familiar, and the conclusion is obvious.
The truth is that very few difficult tasks are accomplished by individuals working alone.  But when working together, focused on a common goal and motivated by a common passion, great things will be achieved. But not even working together is enough to accomplish a major goal. Training is required. And that’s what Spiritual Warfare Assertiveness Training (SWAT)  is all about.
The Mission of Leaders Communicating God’s Love is to first, identify a significant percentage of Toastmasters who are Believers in Jesus Christ and unite us into a fellowship of Believers that encourage each other, and build up each other in our Holy Faith.
This we do through our weekly 1-hour meetings during which time we devote ourselves through a basic study of one short passage from the Word of God; to praise; to prayer; to sharing our testimonies; and to Spiritual Warfare Assertiveness Training.
As we grow, because our global fellowship is virtual, little pockets of Believers in the same geographical location will come together all over the world and achieve together what on the virtual platform we can only inspire.
But even more critical will be the influence that individual Toastmasters will begin to have in their local environments, at home, at work, during their after-work activities, and even at Church. We literally will all become Leaders Communicating God’s Love.
But Leaders  Communicating God’s Love, primarily a group of Toastmasters, will expand to include any Believer in Jesus Christ who shares our common values and objectives. It was the vision of Jesus that we all be Leaders… for only leaders can attract Disciples. And whereas Toastmasters are uniquely trained to lead and communicate, every Christian witness under the  command to make disciples, must learn to effectively lead and communicate.
Christian Toastmasters are therefore the standard bearers in the execution of the Great Commission to the extent that we are already being trained to communicate and lead.
That obligates us to teach others to lead and communicate. And while we are at it, we might just as well introduce them to the organization of which we are proud members – Toastmasters International…and of course, to our local Toastmasters Club, or to one near them.
Finally, the driving vision of Leaders Communicating God’s Love requires us to eventually establish a global corporate presence as an advocate for the marginalized amongst us and for those for whom Jesus shows extra care and concern. When that time comes, we will see in which direction the Lord is leading us.
At the end of 2024 and having launched all 8 chapters of LCGL, our immediate goal is to extend our global family to include the 30,000 Believing Toastmasters that we have envisioned.
We can’t do this without you. Thank you for being part of the journey of Leaders Communicating God’s Love. We will continue to use our website as our main communication hub. We will adapt and adjust our modus operandi as evolving needs determine.
May God’s goodness and mercy continue to run you down and overtake you in Jesus’ Name… Amen
